The men of Pi Kappa Phi, Theta Gamma chapter at the University at Buffalo, have had an eventful start to the Fall 2016 semester.
On September 10th, the chapter attended the “Out of The Darkness” walk for the American Foundation for Suicide prevention at Buffalo’s Delaware Park. With letters on, the brothers joined a diverse group of members from the Buffalo community to remember, honor, and support both those currently struggling, or lost to suicide.
The chapter has also continued its strong ties with the American Red Cross of Buffalo, as they have held tabling events in the Universities Student Union encouraging students to donate, as well as directing interested students to the blood drive events on campus.
Theta Gamma was also able to keep up its phenomenal recruiting and rushing efforts, as 9 associate members have signed their bids to begin their journey to become exceptional leaders. Rush week festivities included our traditional poker night, a meet the brothers night, as well as a trip to SkyZone, a trampoline park located in Buffalo.
Looking ahead, Theta Gamma looks to continue their efforts starting with their first ever Alumni tailgate, which will take place October 15th before the UB vs. Ball St football game.
